Fossilized Feces, A Faceless Baby, and the Idea of Nowhere, 2019
Performance, 30 minutes

Using the voice and image this performance shares a portrait of the small rural town of Green River, Utah. Working closely with the community along with the Green River archives at the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, Lyon uses the anecdote and the experience of looking to investigate a broad range of subjects from the town’s uranium ore disposal cell to the comb styles of the Community Center’s roosters.
